George Brintalos joins xMoney as Strategic Advisor

Payments are often treated as the final step in a transaction.
In reality, they define everything that comes before and after it: liquidity, growth, and the ability to scale without friction.
That understanding has shaped George Brintalos’ career, the Founder & CEO of Storfund, and now also a Strategic Advisor to xMoney.
Built in Markets. Refined in Reality.
George’s path into payments didn’t begin with theory. It began with experience and exposure.
After more than 15 years across global financial institutions, including roles at Barclays Investment Bank, Credit Suisse, and BBVA, he built a deep understanding of how capital moves, how risk is priced, and how liquidity shapes decision-making.
But it was a much simpler problem that led to Storfund.
As an app creator, George experienced firsthand what many businesses still face today: waiting to get paid.
That delay, often invisible in large systems, becomes critical for operators trying to grow.
Storfund was built to solve that, making immediate payment to eCommerce sellers not an exception, but the standard.
Designing Systems That Move at the Speed of Business
George combines two perspectives that rarely coexist: economist and engineer.
He doesn’t just understand financial systems, but he also builds them.
At Storfund, he designed the mathematical models that underpin instant payouts, enabling sellers to access revenue without waiting for traditional settlement cycles. The goal was incremental improvement, of course, but more than that - structural change.
That same mindset is increasingly relevant as payments evolve. Because today, the question is no longer just how money moves.
It’s how fast, how efficiently, and under what constraints.
A Valuable Experience for xMoney
xMoney is building infrastructure where fiat, crypto, and stablecoins operate within the same system, under strict regulatory frameworks, and with real-world usability.
Within the xMoney ecosystem, XMN token acts as a coordination layer, connecting usage, rewards, and participation across the network. Rather than existing in isolation, it is designed to align incentives between merchants, users, and the infrastructure itself, reinforcing activity where it matters most: real transactions.
And such an infrastructure requires more than technology.
It requires understanding:
- How liquidity impacts businesses in practice
- How settlement timing affects growth
- How to design systems that remove friction without introducing risk
George’s experience sits directly at that intersection.
“What stood out to me about xMoney is the focus on real infrastructure,” says George Brintalos.
“Payments are not just about moving value. Now, it’s all about enabling businesses to operate without unnecessary delays or complexity. When you combine regulatory clarity with flexible payment rails, you create something that can genuinely improve how companies scale.”
Designing for Movement and Flow
Across both traditional finance and digital assets, one principle remains constant: systems that win are the ones that reduce friction where it matters most.
For xMoney, that means building payment infrastructure that works across currencies, across geographies, and across regulatory environments, without forcing businesses to compromise on speed or control.
“George brings a rare combination of market experience and system design,” says Greg Siourounis, Co-Founder & CEO of xMoney.
“He understands how delays in payments affect real businesses, not just models. As we continue to build infrastructure that connects fiat and crypto in a compliant way, that perspective is incredibly valuable.”
What Comes Next Is Built on Timing
The next phase of payments won’t be defined by new ideas alone.
It will be defined by execution and timing.
By systems that remove inefficiencies.
By infrastructure that supports real businesses.
By models that align speed, compliance, and usability.
With George joining as Strategic Advisor, xMoney strengthens its ability to build in that direction.
Not just faster, but better structured.
